Scheduled to take place at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on March 22, the event promises an unforgettable fusion of cricket and entertainment, featuring notable stars including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, AR Rahman, and Sonu Nigam.

The opening ceremony is expected to kick off with electrifying performances by the aforementioned stars, setting the tone for the IPL 2024 season. The inaugural match will witness a face-off between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
In a departure from previous ceremonies, this year’s event will feature AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam singing patriotic numbers in addition to Bollywood hits. The duration of the entire show, including Akshay and Tiger’s performances, will be approximately 30 minutes. Furthermore, Sonu and Rahman will collaborate on several Bollywood favorites.
Notably, the opening ceremony will also showcase cutting-edge AR (Augmented Reality) technology, promising viewers a never-before-seen visual spectacle.
